The Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill on Amendments to the Law “On the Customs Tariff of Ukraine” (re Electric Conductors Duty) as a Basis and in its Entirety

The Bill (Reg. No. 5134) submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine increases the rates of import duty imposed on the electric conductors from 2 to 10%.

The People´s Deputies believe that the suggested rate of import duty complies with the international tariff commitments of Ukraine within the scope of the membership in the World Trade Organization. The said rate of duty is established to support the national enterprises-producers of cable and conductors.
